The Triple Door presents Abigail Lapell at The Rabbit Box

“A disc of pure, impalpable beauty, weightless notes and melodies that pierce our hearts…. And the young woman, prey to a vagueness in the soul that she sublimates in a handful of magical songs, to offer us a twilight album, somewhere between Gillian Welch and Laura Veirs.” – Rolling Stone

Toronto songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Abigail Lapell returns with Anniversary, an evocative collection of original love songs. Produced with Great Lake Swimmers’ Tony Dekker, the album was recorded at 200-year-old St Mark’s Church in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario. Dekker helped shape the sessions’ spooky, resonant sound and also lent his voice to a couple of spellbinding duets.

JG Thirlwell ~ Silver Mantis

The Rabbit Box presents JG Thirlwell ~ Silver Mantis with special guest, Leeni

Oct. 31st / Doors 6:30pm / Performance begins at 7:30pm

$25 adv. / $28 door : https://tickets.venuepilot.com/e/jg-thirlwell-2025-10-31-the-rabbit-box-theatre-seattle-2c7021

Silver Mantis is a 50 minute electro-acoustic presentation, performed with software and sampling, theremin and prepared piano. It is an immersive multi channel composition which allows for an elastic performance.

After my recent densely structured work with chamber ensembles, the inspiration behind Silver Mantis was to create a work incorporating live re-composition and improvisation into its structure, one which could expand and contract fluidly with flow and spontanaeity from pre-ordained building blocks of sound.

Incorporating musique concrète and electronic sound along with live instrumentation, the composition is dynamic, cinematic and diverse with stylistic left-turns, creating a tension between time and anxiety.  I perform it with a projection created exclusively for the project by acclaimed Swedish visual artist Sten Backman.

Silver Mantis has been performed at Roulette Intermedia in NYC, Cafe Oto in London, 2220 in Los Angeles, Colchester Arts Center UK, Melbourne Recital Center, Art Gallery of New South Wales, Timacua Arts Foundation in Orlando, Elastic Arts in Chicago and elsewhere.

JG Thirlwell is a composer/producer/performer based in Brooklyn, NY. Born in Melbourne, he moved to London in 1978, then relocated to NYC in 1983, where he has been based ever since.  As well as his own name, he works under many pseudonyms including Manorexia, Foetus, Xordox, Steroid Maximus, Baby Zizanie, Hydroze Plus, Clint Ruin and Wiseblood.

He has released over thirty albums. If there is a common thread to his varied musical styles, it is a dramatic intensity and an evocative, cinematic quality. Thirlwell has also featured as producer, remixer, collaborator or arranger for a wide variety of artists including Karen O, Noveller, Zola Jesus, Helm, Mivos Quartet, Melvins, Swans, Nine Inch Nails, Lydia Lunch, Coil, Z’s, The The, Simon Hanes, Tony Oursler, Nick Cave and many more.

JG has completed commissions for Kronos Quartet, Bang On A Can, Alarm Will Sound, String Orchestra of Brooklyn, Alterity Chamber Orchestra, Experiments in Opera, Zephyr Quartet, Great Learning Orchestra, Dither, Jeffrey Zeigler, William Basinski and more. He is also an acclaimed graphic artist. In 2010, he received a fellowship from New York Foundation of the Arts in sound / composition. He has created sound installations which have exhibited in Santarcangelo, Kaliningrad and Gotland, and is a member of the freq_out sound art collective. He performs live with a chamber ensemble, with his multi-channel electro-acoustic “Silver Mantis” project and with his electronic project Xordox.

JG also creates the musical score for the Emmy-winning FX show Archer, and for Adult Swim / Cartoon Network show The Venture Bros, for which he was nominated for an Annie Award.

The Love Markets with special guests, The Sirens of Swing

Join The Love Markets with The Sirens of Swing for a special All Saints’ Night show on Halloween weekend, featuring undertaker’s waltzes, teen-vampire tangos, werewolf trombone and more!

Nov. 1st / Doors 7pm / Music begins at 7:30pm

The Love Markets are a Weimar Berlin-inspired cabaret rock band who make modern songs of love and revolution. With deep roots in Seattle’s arts scene, these “ruffle-clad ruffians” have spent the last 15 years bringing their subversive wit, rollicking grooves, and intoxicating soul to city stages and crafting new critically acclaimed music. The band’s unique sound comes courtesy of singer-songwriter Angie Louise’s exuberant vocals and adventurous keys; Robertson Witmer’s shape-shifting accordion; David Marriott Jr.’s trombone wizardry; Dave Pascal’s funky bass; and Chris Monroe’s sinuous drums.

The Love Markets’ debut album World of Your Dreams lured fans down red-lit alleys with its potent brew of political bite and gleeful escapism. Follow-up album Beauty Factory thumbed its nose at the machine and found heroines in unlikely places. In June 2025, the Love Markets celebrated the release of their third record Ship of Light, a vessel carrying luminous songs about risk, hope, longing, misadventure, monsters stomping things, and billionaires in space.

"Irresistible... Intoxicating... A deliciously dark carnival." - Seattle Magazine
"Ruffle-clad ruffians... Uber-belter vocals… Fearsome chops.” - City Arts Magazine
"Sultry cabaret rhythms and a revolutionary's hankering to bring down the system." – JetSpace

The Sirens of Swing blend lush harmonies, jive rhythms, and anarchic humor in a one-of-a-kind show. Boasting the trio talents of Seattle cabaret luminaries Karen Kay Cody, Joanne Klein, and Jayne Muirhead and the killer keys of pianist-arranger John Engerman, this wild ride is what might happen if the Three Stooges could sing like angels. Let the Sirens take you to the moon and put a kick in your chicken! With Dave Pascal on bass.

Little Wins~ Vinyl Release with Star Anna and Nat Meek

The Rabbit Box presents Little Wins ~ Vinyl Release of Restless Medium, Quiet Moon with special guests, Star Anna and Nat Meek

Friday, Nov. 7th / doors 7:30pm / music begins at 8:30pm

$18 adv. / $20 door : https://tickets.venuepilot.com/e/little-wins-vinyl-release-with-star-anna-and-nat-meek-2025-11-07-the-rabbit-box-theatre-seattle-2ee119

Little Wins is the bedroom pop-turned-heartland rock solo project of producer and multi-instrumentalist Andrew Vait. When Vait lost his mother to cancer, he channeled his grief into hand-building a home studio. He started writing for the first time in years-the songs revealing themselves as cinematic escapes, drawing influence from artists like Waxahatchee, Kacey Musgraves, S.G. Goodman, and Bon Iver. He wrote the final songs that would comprise his debut album while on a trip to Hart Mountain, Oregon with his father, on the one-year anniversary of his mom's passing. Vait began recording in the studio he built. He played nearly every instrument and mixed the collection of songs himself. As he approached the finish line, Vait faltered. A fear took hold: that releasing such a vulnerable work-so deeply imbued with loss —would invite the soft tide of change to wash away the version of himself that grief had made familiar. A year passed before Vait eventually surrendered and entered the final stage of grief, as the moon enters its final phase: the waning crescent. It was in that dusk-lit moment of acceptance that the album took its final shape, and he was able to let go.

Vait released his debut full-length album, Restless Medium, Quiet Moon, in September 2025. The work speaks to an earnest longing for balance, the urgent need for flight, and the curious, courageous spirit in us all. The urge to cry and be held. To reach desperately for connection. To light a fire in one's self and perhaps in the hearts of others-and to uncover a deeper understanding of grief and loneliness and the joy and beauty that can spring from both.

Apple Jam / Beatles Sessions

Apple Jam / Beatles Sessions concert series presented by Roseta Productions at Seattle's Rabbit Box Theatre shines a spotlight on the more obscure corners of the Beatles and solo years musical output.

November 10th / Doors 6:30pm / Music begins at 7:30pm

$15 adv. / $18 door:  https://tickets.venuepilot.com/e/roseta-productions-presents-apple-jam-beatles-sessions-concert-series-2025-11-10-the-rabbit-box-theat-258624

World-renowned Beatles tribute band Apple Jam is best known for curating and developing Beatles music outside of the official canon. Apple Jam / Beatles Sessions is a six show concert series hosted by Seattle's famed Rabbit Box Theatre on select Monday nights from August 25 through December 1. You'll hear music from the entire Beatles catalogue (including solo years), performed in an astounding Fab4 style! Every show will be included favorites, deep cuts, and rarities.

According to The Stranger's Dave Segal, "Apple Jam are possibly the most arcane Beatles tribute band in the world. While most of these Moptop manqués are content to replicate the best-known songs from the Fab Four's rich catalog (not that there's anything wrong with that), Apple Jam dig way deeper ... Apple Jam have the skills to recreate the Beatles' melodic magic and vocal sonority in order to spotlight the obscure corners of their evergreen output."

Far beyond other Beatles tribute bands, Apple Jam delivers unrivaled Beatles-infused musicianship and world-class showmanship, without wigs, costumes or accents. They approach Beatles music with enormous respect and devotion, and their jaw-dropping concerts must be experienced live to be fully appreciated. Apple Jam has performed at major venues on the West coast, the United Kingdom, and Finland.

Apple Jam's acclaimed album discography showcases Beatle-penned music outside of the official canon, and includes the following releases - "Off The Beatle Track" (2009), "On The Wings Of A Nightingale" (2012), "Off The White Album" (2018), and most recently "Beatley" (2024). This catalogue is available all major streaming platforms worldwide.

Apple Jam was formed in 2005, in support of "(Just Like) Starting Over", a stage play based on John Lennon's final interview. Apple Jam's line-up includes: Rick Lovrovich (guitar), Kelly Van Camp (drums). Johnny Jones (keyboards), Jakael Tristram (guitar), and Keith Lowe (bass).

Andrea Wittgens with Braly Sangster

The Rabbit Box is excited to present Andrea Wittgens with Braly Sangster

Nov. 13 / Doors 6:30pm / Music begins at 7:30pm

$15 adv. / $18 door : https://tickets.venuepilot.com/e/andrea-wittgens-with-braly-sangster-2025-11-13-the-rabbit-box-theatre-seattle-cabab6

Twenty years into a critically-acclaimed music career, alt-pop artist Andrea Wittgens is giving herself permission to embrace artistic autonomy on her cinematic new full-length album, Big Dreams Little Earthlings (April 2025). Lavished with moody synths and soaring hooks, it is a love letter to the pomp and passion of the 1980s pop of Wittgens’s youth expressed by a woman who survived the decades that followed.

Wittgens is a Antigonish, Nova Scotia-born singer-songwriter, pianist, producer, and visual artist who has cultivated an aesthetic that pulls from pop, classical, jazz, early punk, and 1980s new wave and dark wave. Signature to her songwriting are her adventurous soundscapes, deeply honest personal lyrics and her ability to complex themes into infectious pop settings.

Big Dreams Little Earthlings harnesses feminine rage, grief, addiction, hope, and acceptance, and embodies the full spectrum of Wittgens’ creativity. She co-produced the album with Joshua Tree, Grammy-nominated producers Ainjel Emme (Kim Gordon, Yeah Yeah Yeahs) and Anthony Lopez (The Voidz, Charlie XCX). The album is now available on vinyl, digital download and all streaming platforms.   “Unorthodox, emotionally transparent and artistically fearless” - Earmilk

You can listen to Andrea’s music and learn more at www.andreawittgens.com

Follow her on InstagramFacebookBandcampSpotifyApple Music

Leslie Braly and Johnny Sangster have been singing and writing songs individually for decades, and they remain passionate pluralists in Seattle’s music scene – Sangster as an in-demand producer, engineer, and guitarist (The Tripwires, Mudhoney, Neko Case) and Braly as the leader of longstanding Americana outfit Pineola and sought-after collaborator. But something rare takes place when they write and perform together: a proverbial third voice joins the chorus. This voice speaks for the multiplicity of selves present in each of us – aching, stubborn, strutting, stumbling, crestfallen, deliriously in love – often in the space of a single measure or stanza. Their alchemy finds new expression and potency in Braly Sangster’s new album, Candy Wrappers.

His acoustic solo arrangements are very personal, derived from the different musical experiences Alberto has in rock, jazz, country and pop as a session player. Yet they're rooted in the style of the great Chet Atkins and Tommy Emmanuel. He digs into complex arrangements of Italian and american classics, translating them on the guitar (Georgia on my mind, Volare, 'O Sole Mio), picking up clever harmonic movements from those great arrangers and composers and making them his own, on the six string.

As a sideman Alberto has rocked stages as big as Italian Stadiums like Olimpico and San Siro, or Pavillao Atlantico in Lisboa. In his 25 years career he's worked with major Italian acts as a session player and record producer/arranger/mixer. He runs his recording studio called "Belairstudio" in Rome, Italy. https://www.albertolombardi.com/

Nile Rodgers, Madonna, Duran Duran, Bowie producer and mastermind of the band Chic: “the record is killing, such great musicianship!”

Tommy Emmanuel, one of the most influential guitar players of all times, with whom Alberto was lucky to play a few times, said about his first acoustic record: “It sounds beautiful and your playing and arrangements are very powerful! Big admiration to you!”

The Triple Door presents Ron Sexsmith at The Rabbit Box with special guest, Tomo Nakayama

Nov. 29th / Doors 6:30pm / Music begins at 7:30pm

Ron Sexsmith is a three time Juno award winning songwriter from Ontario, Canada. He has written and recorded an extensive and acclaimed catalog of studio albums and original songs, beginning with his self titled debut in 1995. Ron is set to release his eighteenth studio album in 2025.

In the past few decades as a headlining artist, Ron has performed at some of the most prestigious venues in the world, such as Massey Hall, Carnegie Hall, London's Royal Albert Hall, as well as The London Palladium.

A child of melody, his music has been described as a hybrid of Canadian folk heroes such as Gordon Lightfoot and Leonard Cohen mingled with that of The Kinks, Beatles and other British invasion acts of his formative years.

Apple Jam / Beatles Sessions

Apple Jam / Beatles Sessions concert series presented by Roseta Productions at Seattle's Rabbit Box Theatre shines a spotlight on the more obscure corners of the Beatles and solo years musical output.

December 1st / Doors 6:30pm / Music begins at 7:30pm

$15 adv. / $18 door:  https://tickets.venuepilot.com/e/roseta-productions-presents-apple-jam-beatles-sessions-concert-series-2025-12-01-the-rabbit-box-theat-6dc5f4

Bird Streets

The Rabbit Box is excited to have Bird Streets join us for an early evening performance.

Thursday, Dec. 4th / Doors 4pm / Music begins at 5pm

$12 adv. / $15 door : https://tickets.venuepilot.com/e/bird-streets-2025-12-04-the-rabbit-box-theatre-seattle-8378c5

Bird Streets, the alter-ego and musical brainchild of Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist John Brodeur, emerged in 2018 – from the same NPR Slingshot class as Phoebe Bridgers and The Beths – with a fully realized self-titled album. The project’s charming brand of Americana tinged indie rock and power-pop was showcased even further via the release of recent stand-alone singles (“On The Promenade” and a cover of XTC’s “Dear God”), the Ghost Notes EP and 2022’s full length sophomore release Lagoon, which found Brodeur enlisting production by Pat Sansone (Wilco) and Michael Lockwood (Fiona Apple), plus guest appearances from Ed Harcourt, Aimee Mann, John Davis (Superdrag), and Jody Stephens (Big Star). The Escape Artist, out October 17, reteams Brodeur with producer Jason Falkner (Daniel Johnston) for a paranoid guitar-pop record that runs the gamut from claustrophobic folk to punk-rock freakout.

Jesse Blake Rundle writes sad boy songs—but he’s not actually sad, most of the time. From Boise, Idaho, he makes intricate chamber folk that bridges intimacy and grandeur, for fans of Grizzly Bear, Adrianne Lenker, and the quieter corners of indie rock. His work orbits longing and change, shaped by leaving religion, embracing his sexuality, and finding joy in sobriety.

The latest album — "WAIT, SKY" — has been getting some praise: “a rare album: demanding yet accessible, cerebral yet visceral. He reminds us that music, when not just consumed but inhabited, can become a refuge for those seeking understanding—others, the world, themselves.” — Extra VA French

The Triple Door presents F*ck That! Erin McKeown’s Anti-Holiday Spectacular at The Rabbit Box

Friday, December 12, 2025 @ 7:30pm / 18+ Event - ID Required

$20 General // $25 Advance: https://tickets.thetripledoor.net/eventperformances.asp?evt=9

Tired of holiday hype? Gritting your teeth until New Year’s Eve? Erin McKeown is too. Filled with profanity, irreverance, and just plain bad behavior, “F*ck That!” is the antidote to all that annoying holiday spirit. It’s the world’s first anti-capitalist, pro-queer, suspicious of christmas-as-patriotism, sex-positive, not safe for work, multi-ethnic, radical leftist Anti-Holiday show. There is nothing redeeming about christmas in any part of this show. Returning for the first time since 2013, Erin will perform all their signature anti-holiday classics plus new songs written (ahem) explicitly for 2025 along with a crowd-sourced choir of Cranky Carolers.

*Please note this show contains adult language and themes completely inappropriate for children. On purpose

Erin McKeown is a musician, writer, and producer known internationally for their prolific disregard of stylistic boundaries. Their brash and clever electric guitar playing is something to see. Their singing voice is truly unique —clear, cool, and collected. Over the last 20 years, they have performed around the world, released 11 full length albums, and written for film, television, and theater, all the while refining their distinctive and challenging mix of American musical forms.

Erin’s first musical, Miss You Like Hell, written with Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Quiara Alegría Hudes, opened Off-Broadway at The Public Theater in 2018. It was nominated for 5 Drama Desk Awards, including Best Lyrics, Best Music and Best Orchestrations, and The Wall Street Journal named it Best Musical of 2018.

Leading their own band, Erin has performed at Bonnaroo, Glastonbury, and the Newport Folk Festivals. A familiar presence on NPR and the BBC, McKeown’s songs have also appeared in numerous commercials and television shows.

Seattle’s The Bad Things are known for their eclectic blend of folk, klezmer, punk, and Americana. Formed in 2002 by singer-songwriter/accordionist Jimmy "The Pickpocket" Berg, the group quickly gained a devoted following with their theatrical performances and gritty, carnival-esque sound. Their music, often described as “cabaret for the end times,” weaves tales of love, death, addiction, and redemption with a raw, narrative-driven edge that draws comparisons to Tom Waits, The Pogues and Gogol Bordello. The Bad Things have released four albums on their Silent City Records label including "It'll All Be Over Soon" and "After the Inferno," each showcasing their talent for balancing the macabre with the melodic. They are currently working on their fifth, slated for release in the first half of 2026. Their live shows are legendary for their immersive, old-world atmosphere and dramatic flair, often incorporating theatrical elements that make them as much a visual experience as a musical one. Despite multiple lineup changes and evolving styles, The Bad Things remain one of Seattle’s most enduring and original musical acts, continuing to defy genre boundaries while maintaining a deep connection to their roots in the punk and folk traditions.

The indomitable duo has brought their optimistic Americana polish to international stages shared with the likes of Rayland Baxter, The Dead South, ZZ Ward, Fantastic Cat and ALO among others.

Goodmorning Valentine is the moniker for the singer songwriter Joseph Allen Beltram. For the last 20 years, Joseph has been working away on his albums and putting himself on the road, traveling all over the United States both as a solo artist and with friends, playing places of some notoriety as well as dives you've never heard of, making friends and gathering a small audience as he goes. Joseph is “the real deal,” a tireless songwriter whose determined daily routine has delivered him hundreds of songs. For the last few years, Joseph Allen Beltram has fully embraced this itinerant life, waving farewell to old haunts from the window of a conversion van, chasing a permanent state of motion. His latest trip has taken him all over the country, recording with old friends, writing new tunes, and playing old favorites for those growing audiences. In 2024 Suicide Squeeze released a collabortive effort between Six Parts Seven and Goodmorning Valentine. ‘Kissing Distance’.

“On a hot summer day in August I went into Zona Park studios outside Lockhart, TX with Bob Hoffnar on pedal steel and Dennis O’Donnell on upright bass and recorded the five songs that would become the King of Nothin’ e.p.

All very much songs from the road. The title track King of Nothin’ and Vacancy Sign were written the same strange night in a nowhere motel room in Arkansas. Four Roses was written while crashing at a friends’ house in Nashville.

What can’t be Found was written after a heartbreak and leaving town like in an old western movie. The drifter dreaming down that lost highway searching for something that can’t be found. But just maybe. EZ Come EZ Go a song about the pain and confusion of letting go and detachment with a bit of humor. “ - Wil Cope

Rising Waters Collective presents: Vox: The Echo in the Crowd

At the Rabbit Box Theatre in Pike Place Market, the air is thick with music, conversation, and the glow of low light on polished wood. People lean in over plates, laughter rising, glasses clinking. In the corner, a woman dines alone, a small island in the tide of sound. Then the phone rings. What starts as an ordinary call becomes something else- fractured, urgent, and too intimate for this room, yet unfolding right here before you. You catch fragments between the piano's chords, the low thrum of voices, the scrape of silverware. Her gaze never finds yours, but you feel as though you’ve stumbled into a moment you were never meant to witness. Vox: The Echo in the Crowd turns the audience into quiet eavesdroppers, pressing close to the invisible line between performance and intrusion. In this world, the crowd’s easy warmth becomes a backdrop for one woman’s unraveling, where private pain swells in the most public of spaces.

Eli West Record Release for The Shape of a Sway with special guest, Elise Leavy

"Eli West is an American Roots musician from the Pacific Northwest. A multi-instrumental creator of sonic spaces, Eli’s former training as a designer informs a sound that is lush and organic – neither manicured nor overgrown. Evergreen timbres weave among pitches, rhythms and lyrics to become comfortable rooms into which listeners are invited. Lauded by Tim O’brien as a musician “making music the World needs,” Eli’s reputation as a crafter of considered, toneful environments has fostered collaborations with Bill Frisell, Andrew Marlin, John Reishchman, Julie Fowlis, and many other pillars of the growing Americana movement.”

Elise Leavy's breezy Laurel Canyon-tinged music belies her depth as a songwriter. On A Little Longer, Leavy's first major solo artistic statement, she deftly explores nostalgia and melancholy over ten tracks that wash over the listener like a gentle ocean tide. Indeed, the record's sound hearkens to an era when the SoCal sound dominated the FM dial. Now a resident of Bellingham, WA, this collection of songs was written while Leavy was living in Boston and New York. However, it's clear that growing up on California's central coast was foundational to Leavy's songwriting.

What Rob Moura hopes you hear when you press play on his music is a familiar language rendered alien. True to his Seattle-based surroundings, the songs he performs as Armour are verdant and waterlogged, and they move with dark clouds permanently affixed above them. With his featherweight vocals and labyrinthine guitar structures, Moura’s music may at first recall the classic folk of Nick Drake. His songs dip just as deep into melancholy waters, and they look around as much as they do inward. But Moura’s characters are victims of the present era, and so they strive to disengage from the uncomfortable, inconvenient facets of their humanity: the thrum of heartache, the sting of heartbreak, the dull pang of regret, the weight of familial trauma, and the chains of faith.

Connor Cash Colbert is a songwriter and poet living on the unceded, traditional lands of the Duwamish people past and present in Seattle. He's a member of the alt-folk band False Hemlock, an editorial assistant at Poetry Northwest, and Hannah's dad.

In emerging artist, Sister Swimmer’s new EP, “The Horizon Line Swallowed Us Whole”, the boundary between dream and memory fizzles and sputters, dissolves into a hum of static. In the inevitable natural disaster of experience—did you forget your body, again? Do we trust the vessel that carries us forward? Is it really love or did you just want to feel safe? Project creator Britt Amborn’s voice wavers and waxes poetic within these questions, using music as a salve to turn emotional injury into relational fortitude, as a tool to move forward from her own obsessions with worry and place and longing and what stories the body claims for keeps. Sister Swimmer’s sonic landscape blends elements of indie rock and dream pop, venturing into darkly-lit territories of folktronica and shoegaze. At the heart of the project lies a fierce commitment to collaboration, where fellow Seattle-based artists each contribute a force of their own. Seattle producer and artist, Nicholas Ward of french tears & Hey Marseilles, brings his esteemed creative direction to the narrative with fuzzy guitars, captivating builds, and moody compositions that stir electricity in with inherent melancholy. In “Knuckles” and “Monster Song”, artist Jeremiah Moon’s cello propels the story forward, swinging the pendulum of emotionality between a anxious tightening of anticipation in the listeners’ chest, to a sentimental carrying that feels like a long exhale, a necessary release. Drummer Colin Richey lends a dynamic urgency to “No : Body”, along with the warmth and fiery grit of Austen Case on background vocals. Mike Vernon Davis’ engineering and mixing expertise adds a gravitational pull with textured, analog-inspired force. A testament to the EP’s accomplishment—Britt was selected by Sonic Guild to collaborate with local industry leaders on crafting an impactful community debut. “The Horizon Line Swallowed Us Whole” is a distorted investigation into what detaches self from story, in the dark mythologies we construct around memory and our lived-in experiences. In between the pull of sister swimmer's present-minded romanticism and nostalgia-drenched escapism—a glowing, beckoning horizon (a longing to be present to the body and tender with its history) is an ever-shifting daydream, a worthy pursuit.

World-renowned Beatles tribute band Apple Jam is best known for curating and developing Beatles music outside of the official canon.

Chicago Folk / Americana singer / songwriter, Steve Dawson, has been called “one of the most underrated songwriters in American music,” who writes, “graceful, poetic songs akin to a volume of great short stories in their precise, exacting wordplay and soulful heartache.” Dawson has released six albums with his long-time band, Dolly Varden, and six solo albums, including 2021’s “At The Bottom Of A Canyon In The Branches Of A Tree,” and 2024’s, “Ghosts,” both on Pravda Records. Originally from San Diego, California, he spent his teen years in Hailey, Idaho, where he learned guitar and started writing songs. After a few years at the Berklee School of Music in Boston, Dawson moved to Chicago and formed the band, Stump The Host, with his future wife, artist and singer, Diane Christiansen. Dawson also teaches songwriting at the legendary Old Town School of Folk Music and co-wrote a book on songwriting and the creative process with Mark Caro called, “Take It To The Bridge: Unlocking The Great Songs Inside You.”

Avant-garde classical composer? Freak-folk singer-songwriter? Postmodern jazz interloper? Recently eschewing electronic instruments for a banjo, Eaton’s music is colored by her eclectic musical expertise, spanning the Renaissance lute, 20th century post-tonal harmony, American minimalism and frontier songs of the American west. Her “disconcertingly lovely” (Seattle Weekly) compositions are “unconfined by genres and musical classifications” (V13 Media), combining her “glass-like voice” (Earshot Jazz) with folk roots and avant-garde chamber music.

The project will honor the music of Elton John and is dedicated to the memory of Vait’s mother, who died in September of 2022 after a battle with cancer. Thom Jurek at All Music said it best, "Only Gram Parsons' term "Cosmic American Music" begins to touch her mercurial, changeling roots aesthetic, ... McNally is a Zen-like, post-Beat song poet”. For those who have followed McNally’s nearly twenty year career the thing that most sticks with the listener about her, is the timeless effortlessness that she brings to all she does. With a long catalog and longer list of peers with whom she has written, recorded and toured, McNally continues to turn out great music that defies blatant genre-fication.

At home across the American (Americana) music spectrum, the Grammy nominee who’s live music career began on the jam band circuit of the 1990’s with bands like Robert Randolph and Derek Trucks, writes as well as she interprets the songs of others, has a top tier musicality to her craft, a soul stirring voice that immediately grabs one by the heart strings and a troubadour’s wanderlust, not to mention as it turns out, she is also an excellent electric guitar player.

Like her anti-hero heros J.J. Cale, Tom Waits, Bob Dylan. Dr. John, and Jim Dickinson, McNally knows who she serves. She serves the song. Her quiet but steady plodding through the many layers of the business of music, hasn’t ever been rewarded with massive fame and fortune but in time that slow burn has become the treasure in and of itself.

Singer/Songwriter Max Gomez grew up in Taos, New Mexico, where he fell under the influence of country blues early on and developed a songwriting style that was uniquely his. As a budding performer, Max apprenticed in the rarefied musical micro-climate of northern New Mexico, where troubadours like Michael Martin Murphey and Ray Wylie Hubbard helped foster a Western folk sound both cosmic and country.

He received critical acclaim upon the release of his debut album Rule The World (2013, New West Records); and his subsequent EP, Me and Joe (2017, Brigadoon Records), contained a freshly minted classic, “Make It Me.”

He has shared billing on hundreds of stages with stalwarts of the genre like James McMurtry, Buddy Miller, John Hiatt, Patty Griffin, Tommy James & The Shondells, Jeff Beck, and Johnny Depp. Judging by the company he keeps, Gomez is poised to emerge as a prominent voice of Americana’s next generation.  The forthcoming album, Memory Mountain, is set to be released in August 2025.

Sam emerged in the PNW in 2010 as a burgeoning creative force, dabbling in everything from songwriting and composing to audio engineering and production. During a prolific 5 year stint in Seattle, WA, Miller performed extensively and collaborated on releases from Sean Nelson (Harvey Danger), Benjamin Verdoes (Mt. Sam and Matt’s new album, Shiprock, is an all instrumental collection of songs showcasing the balance and musical cohesion of these two songwriters over the years. The project started as a remote collaboration with the two sending each other demo tracks over the cloud and building the album piece by piece in their respective home studios. The album took shape in the Seattle studio, Psychoacoustics Recreational Lab, where the duo laid down the raw tracks to what would be Shiprock in a single weekend. During the session, the two invited long-time bandmate and music video director Chris Cunningham/Dark Details (Danny Elfman, Head and the Heart, Blood Brothers, Ravenna Woods), to shoot the video for their debut single, Sunglint, which surpassed 1 million views worldwide in its first two weeks. The 9-song album features performances by cellist Lori Goldston (Earth, Terry Riley, Nirvana, David Byrne) and Eric Padget (Kay Kay and His Weathered Underground) on Flugelhorn. Padget also played multiple roles as live engineer and mixing engineer.
