Band of Certainty & Good Grief
The Rabbit Box presentsBand of Certainty ~ A Celebration of their newest release “ 5 Things 6 Songs “ with special guests Good Grief.
Band of Certainty is a 6 piece rock band from Seattle. This show is in celebration of their newest release, "5 Things 6 Songs". Along with other longtime Seattle musicians, the band features Glen Slater from Sub Pop's The Walkabouts. The Band's currency is song. Each song contains what we like to call Existential Punchlines. What is an Existential Punchline you might ask? Here is an example: "The world is spinning underneath our feet, turning us all into revolutionaries" . And, you might want to argue that this is a Pun rather than an Existential Punchline. Fair enough and we can have that argument at the show. But, do reserve a ticket. The Rabbitbox is our favorite venue and we expect this show will sell out!

Ambient guitars, bass, and drums grind together to frame lyrics that explore common anxieties and the passage of time. And sometimes goats. The “blank wax clocks” album was released in late 2021 followed by the five song “Dirt in a Hurry” EP. New release coming Spring 2026, come see this band play live… Born out of the vast networks of the PNW farmers market scene: "...their sound is austere, it's rough hewn, maybe like the hands of the people that grow our food, and maybe like the hands of the people that make our things. Maybe like the plain sounds that emerged during a challenging time and helped strip away the artifice. It looks to find a way to cut through the noise and tell our anxious truths." -Iaan Hughes Music Director KBCS 91.3 Joining Seattle songwriter and guitarist Ben Chandler as The Low Lonesome Sound: Bassist Dylan Olson. A veteran of the Chicago psych rock scene, “…we stood around in parking lots for years and talked about bands like The Brian Jonestown Massacre, The Dandy Warhols, The Stooges, The Strokes, The Black Angels, Wilco….now we get to stand around in practice rooms and music venues and talk about our own stuff too. Ask him about his high, pretty vocal harmonies.” Drummer Zachary Pacleb is an artist. Mostly with food. Really, really good food. Turns out he’s also a really, really good drummer. Somebody recently told me, “…everything Zach does is incredible, he’s that kind of guy.” No pressure.

Shelby Natasha is an alt-folk songwriter and Guzheng player from Seattle. Her music is an invitation into a world of RnB influenced Chinese-Folk Music. Inspired by her upbringing growing up between China and the PNW, her music draws greatly from the folk music of both cultures, reimagined in a modern production context.
rosedust is an indie-pop duo from Seattle (and NYC). Tyler and Marco met each other playing in a band for another artist back in New York, and when they both ended up in Seattle together, it was no surprise that they started making their own music. With their debut singles ‘Sorry State’ and ‘Santa Fe,’ released in 2025, rosedust have a lot more in store for 2026. Join them for a romantic odyssey.
Kenshi Killzzz is here for the vibes. The Seattle based singer and songwriter takes you on a relaxed journey through Lo-fi sounds, soul searching through her lyricism. Influenced by the experiences and people all around her, inspiration can be found at every corner.

Elizabeth and the Catapult return to celebrate the long-awaited release of her sixth record, Responsible Friend. Based on letters written but never sent, the new record is a deeply personal collection inspired by the lives of those closest to her. Created with producer Dan Molad (Lucius), Adam Minkoff and Jon Titterington, the album blooms with cinematic spirited arrangements. For this special release show, Elizabeth is joined by Jon Titterington (Father John Misty) on piano and guitar.
Mo Troper "...a converging, titanic exhibition of rock n' roll" - Paste Magazine "...like Pinkerton-era Weezer as interpreted by The Chipmunks" - Pitchfork "...one of the best power-pop artists in the underground." - Stereogum
Jon Patrick Titterington Most know him as the piano player in Father John Misty, but Jon's other musical interests have led to composition work for FX’s “The Bear,” years as a session player for hire, and many collaborations in the folk rock scenes of Hollywood and New York City. All of these experiences inform his debut solo album, See You at the Finish Line, an excursion into heartbreak, morbidity, satire, and social anxiety set to the sound of nervous, hooky pop rock.

Voice and lyrics clear as glass, Where’s Beth (project of Sarabeth Weszely) carries the kind of honesty that makes a room go still. Raised in the Midwest and trained as a writer, Weszely brings a literary sensibility to her songs, shaped by close observation and restraint. She lived seven years in New York City, where she recorded for my mom & other lovers (2022) and Bone Broth (2024). These early releases introduced her devotion to shared domestic spaces and the emotional textures of the mundane. Her sophomore album Ache Is A Cricket In The Night continues this exploration of everyday life but widens its emotional landscape. Across its songs, Weszely writes in tiny weather systems: a fridge that stops humming, a clogged drain gurgling like human pain, strangers pointing out untied shoes in the grocery line, white ants burrowing through wood at dusk. These images widen into reflections on grief, anger, the quiet accumulation of loss, and the ordinary ache of being alive. Recorded live in Weszely’s Seattle home studio, Ache Is A Cricket In The Night trusts presence over perfection. It does not rush toward resolution but stays, listens, offering itself as a companion and trusting that even the smallest details can hold entire emotional worlds. Claire Tucker is an eclectic Seattle-based singer-songwriter noted for her distinctive voice, evocative lyrics, and nuanced whammy-bar technique. She is perhaps marginally better known as the lead vocalist/guitarist/songwriter for Loose Wing. Her most recent album, "Revelers" was released in the final weeks of 2024, too late for consideration for any best-of lists, but that's OK. She'll be accompanied by vocalist Billie Bloom (Von Wildenhaus, Stargazr), and Olie Eshleman (Corespondents, Annie Ford Band) on guitar and pedal steel.

Eli Moore was born in Seattle in 1978. At age 5, his family would leave the city to homestead on remote Whidbey Island, where Eli would grow up spending free time taping music off the radio. Paula Abdul, INXS, and Bruce Hornsby flaunted evidence of a freer world. At 13, he’d hear “Smells Like Teen Spirit,” and in a fandom trance, walk to Casey’s grocery store to purchase Nevermind on cassette. His appetite for music would grow alongside an inconvenient urge to do more than just listen. In 1999, he’d move to Bellingham, WA, for college and follow the thread to increasingly approachable and local music—Lou Barlow, Built to Spill, Dear Nora, K Records. He’d surrounded himself with this music and its people, but self-doubt kept him from tending to his ache to create. In 2001, while night-swimming in Puget Sound’s phosphorescent waters, he found himself pulled out to sea. As he fought to make it back to land, he thought he heard the words: “Don’t let me catch you while you’ve still got things to do.” This near-death experience literally gave voice to the precious wish Eli had been sheltering from the world. He busted open. Eli now resides with his wife and musical partner, Ashley Eriksson. Together, they lead LAKE, a band that has spanned two decades and produced numerous albums. He has collaborated with notable artists such as Karl Blau, Laura Veirs, and First Aid Kit, and records in his home studio, a familiar cabin in the woods. As Eli prepares for the release of the first official solo album he considers, he draws from a rich background of community, collaboration, and solitary devotion.

Scott Gilmore and Sarah Vitort are Fox and Bones—energetic offbeat folksters with a retro-tinged, soul-stirring, modern vintage bent. The indomitable duo has brought their optimistic Americana polish to international stages shared with the likes of Rayland Baxter, The Dead South, ZZ Ward, Fantastic Cat and ALO among others.
Haley Johnsen is a Portland-based Americana artist blending alt-pop edge with powerhouse vocals and emotionally charged songwriting. Often compared to Brandi Carlile and Bonnie Raitt, she delivers heart-forward storytelling wrapped in bold, anthemic hooks and an electrifying live presence. Haley has toured with and opened for artists including Allen Stone, KT Tunstall, Joseph, The Talbott Brothers, and Liam St. John, and performed at the nation’s largest festival. Summerfest, last year in Milwaukie, WI. Her 2026 NPR Tiny Desk Contest submission featuring her single “Lyin’ Man” marks a bold new chapter of new music dropping May 2026. With millions of streams worldwide via the Virgin Music Group, sponsorships with Fender and Breedlove, and a headline slot at Seattle’s Fremont Fair Festival this summer, Haley Johnsen is bringing the Pacific Northwest’s freshest sound to the world, one unforgettable performance at a time.

Byland is the moniker and last name of Seattle based, Albuquerque raised, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Alie Renee. Alie’s cinematic, indie-rock sound is grounded by vocally vulnerable moments that will move you to lean in. The acclaimed project has received recognition from outlets like KEXP, Under The Radar, American Songwriter, Flood Magazine, and others. Byland's latest studio record, “Heavy For A While”, is both timeless and "a little weird" and makes room for her intriguing and often offbeat arrangements - released on Mother West in March of 2024. The record was co-written with her partner and primary collaborator, Jacob John. A Grammy award winning team brought it to life, including production by Nathan Yaccino (Matt Cameron, Pearl Jam, Norah Jones), mixing by Brandon Bell (Brandi Carlile, Joni Mitchell, Dolly Parton), and mastering by Pete Lyman (Brandi Carlile, Jason Isbell, Chris Stapleton). Notable contributors alongside Alie include a lineup of powerful females - Jessica Dobson (Deep Sea Diver), Meagan Grandall (Lemolo), and Abby Gundersen. In support of the record, Alie, along with her four-piece band of seasoned musicians, toured the West and East Coasts. Zander Hawley is a singer and songwriter from Los Angeles. Described as “an avalanche of feeling” (Atwood Magazine) and “consistently captivating, lyrical storytelling” (Ones To Watch), he has toured the US, Canada, and Europe, both on his own and opening for acts including The Naked and Famous and Noah Gundersen. His music has been featured on television in “The Following” on Fox and “The Recruit” on Netflix, and he currently appears as “Rodge” on “The Rookie” on ABC.
Brenna Bruce (Album Release), Lightweight Champion, Stonefruit
The Rabbit Box presents Brenna Bruce (Album Release), Lightweight Champion & Stonefruit
Friday, June 12th // Doors 7:30 // Music 8:30pm
Brenna Bruce is a singer-songwriter residing in Seattle, Washington. Following a path of curiosity and introspection, her music moves with a quiet power, balancing sharpness and tenderness with an understood patience. Bruce pulls from the tradition of vulnerable folk songwriting through delicate and crystalline vocal prowess akin to Courtney Marie Andrews and Emmylou Harris, with the simplicity and focus of Gillian Welch’s storytelling. On her debut EP “Honest Bloom”, Bruce weaves heartfelt stories of her youth in the vast desert landscapes of Arizona with her present day home in the lush mountains of the Pacific Northwest. She explores spaces of liminality and cyclical growth, spinning themes of connection, belonging, and becoming, with Brenna’s vocal harmonies carrying each sentiment to fruition. In 2026, Bruce returns with a matured sound and focused production for her sophomore project “Light Catcher”. Supported by the refined textures of earthy percussion, woodwinds, strings, guitars, and keys, the songs embody threads of rootlessness entangled in visceral memories of love, loss, and everything between.
Lightweight Champion is an alt-country band based out of Seattle and Port Townsend, WA. The band's sound comprises compelling indie songwriting and lyricism with a twangy edge. The band released their first EP “Valley” on Seattle cassette label Den Tapes in April 2023. The EP demonstrates the band's versatility and arrangement prowess – it merges Spieldenner’s lyrics-forward style with warm and textural production, leaning on alt-country influences augmented by explorations into indie/alternative sonic territory. Members include Aaron Spieldenner (Vocals/Guitar), Cam Hancock (Drums) and Tom Moskal (Bass).
Stonefruit is an indie alternative rock band local to Bozeman, MT. With a debut album set to release in summer 2026 and their first tour on the books, Stonefruit is reaching the escape velocity necessary to blast off. Made up of one lifelong Montanan and three lads with southern roots, Stonefruit's sound seamlessly blends noisy tones, sweet bends, and driving drums with Olivia Langan's idiosyncratic lyrics and guitar play. From dreamy alt that has you staring at the floor to crunchy quickness that breaks you from the spell, Stonefruit's genre blending has no limits

100 Miles of Music presents Canadian Music Nights #1
100 Miles of Music presents Canadian Music Nights #1 starring James Young & Friends, featuring Erin McNamee, Jonny Evergreen, and Ian Jones, w/ special guests at The Rabbit Box
Wednesday, June 20th // Doors 6:30pm // Music 7:30pm
Space is limited, get your tickets now!
Canadian Music Nights #1, is the first in a series of concerts where American artists will be celebrating their love of Canadian music and the culture that created it. We will be singing the timeless songs that our neighbors up north penned or simply made famous.
We will be working with Canadian music journalist Phil Saunders on considering songs we have yet to discover, as well as highlighting music that should be better known on both sides of the border. Phil Saunders is a former CBC journalist and author of the book No Flash Please: Underground Music in Toronto 1987-1992. His deep knowledge and scholarship has already made this music series a more authentic study of Canadian song. His research and first hand experience exploring the relationships between Canadian and American musicians, is one of the major touchstones of the night.
More of a musical bridge than simply a headliner, our own Pike Place Gospel music legend, James Young will be at the top of the bill, as we present his unique collection of multi talented music friends that will perform Canadian music they connect with deeply. We will also be showcasing some music from a forthcoming solo album by Mr. Young that has been made possible by Friends of The Market, a group of citizens of Seattle that have themselves had a unique role in preserving and protecting Pike Place. Erin McNamee,Jonny Evergreen, Ian Jones and more special guests to be announced, will be accompanying James Young, and performing as soloists. The evening will be presented by the radio show 100 Miles of Music and emceed by program's hosts, Davin Stedman and Stevor Compton. Not coincidentally, Phil Saunders was the co-owner of the short lived Canadian American magazine that's mission of connecting our two nations inspired Davin to create 100 Miles of Music, as a clever way to describe the fact that nearly the entire population of Canada lives within 100 miles of the United States.
Canadian Music Nights was a thought that Davin Stedman had about what could actually be done to encourage Canadians we love to come back to Seattle to visit Pike Place Market. It's no secret that the number of Canadians crossing the border has dropped off a cliff because of circumstances beyond our control. But in looking for a solution like a Stoic he realized that there are some things we can control and one of them is music. Another is how we can treat each other with empathy, kindness, and dignity. After all, the #1 tell Davin discovered when spotting a Canadian was not how they say the words "aboot" or "so-ree". It was simply how kind they were. So we stole a page from that playbook and with the help of Pike Place Gospel legend, James Young who has been described as our own Mr. Rogers, we are turning empathy and kindness into action. We have gathered an incredible group of music friends to express our love for not just Canadians, but the visitors and immigrants of all kinds that make places like Pike Place Market not just profitable, but possible. This is where action meets word. This is about utilizing the power of music the way we should to bring our communities together.

Franca-Latina mezzo-soprano Adrienne LaVey makes her Rabbit Box debut to perform the most passionate French and Italian arias and art songs of the romantic era. With her unique chocolatey and sparkling mezzo-soprano voice, she will make you fall in love with these pieces again and again. As is her signature dramatic flair, Miss LaVey refuses to allow these pieces to be performed with sterility and perfection, but rather with the passion with which they were written. She will also reunite with tenor Timothy Keller for a heartbreaking duet from La Favorite, all accompanied by Christopher Powell on piano. Adrienne LaVey is an operationally-trained vocalist based out of Seattle with a love for French and Italian operatic repertoire. A native Washingtonian, she has made Seattle her home artistically and personally. She produces intimate, immersive, and accessible operatic shows around the Seattle area, inviting her audiences into the world of the pieces that she falls in love with, rather than what mezzo-sopranos are expected to be performing. She loves showcasing pieces that are often off the beaten path that her audiences may not have heard before, and delights when they identify with it. Adrienne has curated a cocktail, the Maiden’s Blush no2, that can be ordered at the event.

Sam Weber is a Portland-based songwriter whose reputation precedes him. If you haven’t seen him in your town on one of his many extended tours, you might have seen his name on marquees beside Dawes, Feist, or Madison Cunningham (and in the latter's liner notes as a songwriter on her latest LP, Ace). His songcraft is only rivaled by his musicianship, both of which are disciplined enough to stun and feel effortless. He’s well-practiced at his trade, touring solo or with an ensemble domestically and abroad since 2013. His relentless output — now counting eight full length records in his discography — has led to an examination of human existence through self analysis, eternal in a fragmenting modern world. He is a Scorpio.
Berkley (Portland, OR) With a voice that straddles delicacy and huskiness, Portland songwriter Berkley takes the mantle from the 70s Laurel Canyon scene. Jones’s signature progressive flourishes and expansive influences keep him out of the heritage revivalism pack as he ventures into new (for him) territory of country-tinged, folk-leaning tunes on his second LP Vaquero.

The follow-up, Weightless (2016), was lauded as “a thing of beauty” by Pop Dose. Liz’s sixth album, Funeral For My Past, became a notable success after her fans raised over $150,000 on Kickstarter to fund its independent release, making her the #4 most funded solo female musician in Kickstarter history. The album received widespread acclaim, with Forbes calling it “stunning” and Billboard highlighting its diverse range from Americana to shimmering pop anthems.
Becoming a mother in 2022 profoundly impacted Liz’s songwriting, infusing her music with greater depth and perspective. Her most recent album, New Life (2025), reflects this new chapter in her life, showcasing both her personal growth and her continued evolution as an artist.

Formed in 2022, JAMN (pronounced like “damn”) is a Seattle-based pop-funk band made up of professional gigging musicians, music educators, and guys who generally like to show off their chops at local open jam sessions. With humble beginnings at a local “battle of the bands” and with each member having been a featured act at Mo’Jam Mondays (Seattle’s largest weekly open jam), this group of friends quickly grew notorious within the Seattle music scene for performing wacky stage antics while keeping the music deadly serious. With a wide range of influences, their sound blends lighthearted and danceable pop songwriting with tight and complex fusion instrumentation to create an upbeat vibe with a surprising amount of depth. It’s tough to pin down a genre when combining the sounds of soul, funk, R&B, and jazz-fusion with lyrics about “sinking mega-yachts” and “feeling like macaroni”, but that unabashed authenticity is exactly what gives JAMN its charm.

"Sound is the way I've always seen my world."
Brittany brings that world to cinematic life with Images Issues, their full-length debut as a solo artist, available 3.1.24 on Loosegroove Records. Arriving on the heels of 2022's I Choose to Live — an introductory EP that was championed by outlets like NPR (who hosted Davis for a Tiny Desk Concert) and SPIN Magazine (who praised Davis' "intuitive virtuosity across deeply-felt rock, funk, and R&B") — it's a wildly creative project that obliterates the traditional borders between genre and job. Brittany isn't just the album's vocalist; they're also the songwriter, engineer, co-producer, and multi-instrumentalist responsible for nearly every sound on the album. Those sounds are just as diverse as the person who created them, with Image Issues making room for gospel piano, hip-hop grooves, house beats, jazz chords, self-made samples, and everything in between. It's a wide mix — and it's all Brit.

Primarily known as a bassist for groups like Grammy-nominated band Alvvays and Seattle surfers La Luz, Abbey Blackwell (Seattle) is focusing her energies on writing for solo guitar and voice. In the last few years, Abbey has moved into writing songs that feature the voice and guitar (a time-tested combination). Under her name, she has released one EP (2021) and two LPs with another on the way in April 2026. All of which have garnered recognition — The Brooklyn Vegan recognizing Big Big Motion as "a lovely slice of folky indie rock with a lush atmosphere and just a little ragged edge,” and My Maze (2023) ended up being one of Gorilla vs Bear’s top albums of 2023. Her songwriting calls back to the lyrical, hanging melodies of Sibylle Baier and Linda Perhacs, with angular, geometric chord progressions that lean in satisfying directions. Rendered through a self-assured and distinctive musical vocabulary, her songs offer an inspired and idiosyncratic take on personal songwriting, with insights into the central pressure points of human experience that run deeper than transparently confessional.
Keeley Boyle is a singer-songwriter from Kenai, Alaska. Her songs celebrate her home with portraits of loved ones and northern landscapes. Keeley has been playing music in southcentral Alaska since she was a child and has been involved in Portland, OR, and Nashville, TN scenes as well. Her careful guitar arrangements are artfully supported by the bass playing of Abbey Blackwell in both recordings and live performances. She recently won the Rasmuson Grant, and has caught the eye of publications like Under the Radar and Global Texan Chronicles, which touted her EP Inviting, saying it "has such a natural calm interwoven into its fabric that the message of transformation hits with a special kind of beauty."

Blending heartfelt, confessional lyrics with intimate instrumentation, Claire Conway is a songwriter and storyteller with an ear for authenticity. With a wise-beyond-her years level of poise and introspection that draws comparisons to contemporary folk-minded songwriters like Leith Ross and Eliza McLamb, Claire draws listeners in with hushed guitar melodies, warm vocals, and compelling lyrical meditations on the birth and death of love, growing up, and self-discovery.
Orchard Ladder, Seattle twangst.
The Star Family Singers are a songwriting duo who write music to explore the mystical powers of love and friendship. Sunday, April 12th / Doors 6pm / Music 7pm

Expert guitarist Kathy Moore has earned a reputation as one of Seattle’s finest musicians, having performed alongside a litany of Northwest greats with her fiery leads and textural cascades. When she’s not occupied melting faces, Moore is a songwriter of remarkable depth and sensitivity. Her “Prog-Punk” ethic fills the stage, and she might just as easily sit at the piano for a tender ballad, build a labyrinth of loops for a massive soundscape, or strum her guitar in quiet syncopation to a haunting melody.
Seattle native Patrick Porter has been making a late-career push for “hardest working man in show business”, sitting in many chairs as a performer, accompanist, music director and band project manager with a laundry list of top-tier local artists. On the other side of his life, Porter is a tender, whimsical songwriter who has released two EPs of original music in the last two years. In solo performance, Porter channels the spirit of his expansive studio creations through a single guitar or piano, making space for his melodies to reach up to the rafters. Self-described “Jersey Girl”
Sheryl Wiser has become a fixture in the Pacific Northwest music scene, first with her band Somebody’s Daughter and more recently as a solo artist. Wiser’s music blends folk and soul with elements of blues, jazz and rock in a heady mixture centered on her compelling, powerful voice. Playing her signature red Parker Fly guitar, Wiser centers her musical stories on intensely human themes of struggle, frailty and overcoming loss. Her life as a musician blends seamlessly with her work as a community activist, writer, and advocate for sustainable agriculture.

The Astro Salon is a monthly, astrology-inspired gathering that celebrates a single zodiac sign, exploring its themes, archetypes, and energetic signatures through an immersive, creative experience.
Each event is designed as an unfolding afternoon rather than a traditional show, featuring live performances by artists whose work reflects the essence of the sign. The experience moves through a fluid, multi-part format: beginning with tarot and astrology readings and a social hour, followed by interactive learning and discussion, live performances, and hands-on artmaking and deeper exploration. The afternoon then opens back up into unstructured time for continued connection and individual readings, alongside opportunities to engage with curated vendors.
Through shared reflection and conversation, guests deepen their understanding of how each sign lives within their own birth chart and lived experience.
Join hosts hannah ramone and Kaylee Cole at the iconic Rabbit Box Theatre in Pike Place Market for a journey through the zodiac. The series begins at the start of the astrological new year with Aries on April 12.

Extrawilliam is the new solo project of William Cremin, multi-instrumentalist and member of many Seattle bands past and present, including Cumulus, Invisible Shivers, The Environment, and The Torn ACLs. He released a pair of acoustic-leaning EPs in 2025 but has not performed a set of his own songs since early 2020.
Young-Chhaylee is a singer/songwriter of the PNW. Growing up on the southside of Everett, WA and being a first generation Cambodian-American has shaped the experience that he speaks on. His writing and style and groove are pieces taken from John Mayer, J. Cole, Otis Redding, and D'Angelo. His voice is powerful yet flutters. Simultaneously strong and vulnerable.
Liv Victorino's quiet, tender songwriting renders unforgettable melodies that deliver a new take on grunge and baroque-pop.

Americana singer-songwriter Sera Cahoone grew up in the Colorado foothills. The daughter of a dynamite salesman, she played her first gigs on drums in a dive bar's open blues jams at 12. As a young adult, she moved to Seattle where she played drums with the adored indie rock group, Carissa’s Wierd, and later Band of Horses. She then went on to release four solo records, two with Sub Pop. In 2019, Cahoone received a Gold Record for her work with Band of Horses.
Cahoone has earned great praise from KEXP, NPR series Tiny Desk Concert, First Listen and Songs We Love. Her work has been featured on UPROXX, ELLE and KEXP. But not only do her songs ring out in rooms of mile-high castles and the edges of sprawling forests, Cahoone is beloved by her fans. Her audiences are filled with the curious, the seekers, and those who just want to hear sing once more, “I wanna be your sidewalk / I’ll take you everywhere/ We’ll travel ‘round this world a million times.”

Whiting Tennis, the second son of an Episcopalian minister from Virginia, currently lives in Seattle, and writes, records and performs indie and folk rock music. After playing in a rock band in the 80's he moved to New York to pursue an art career and since returning to Seattle has released three albums, Hello Dolly, Three Leaf Clover and in 2025, I Do. The original and current line-up is DW Burnam on drums and Kevin Warner on bass.
Diminished Men are an instrumental group formed by guitarist Steve Schmitt, drummer Dave Abramson (Master Musicians of Bukkake, Secret Chiefs 3, Eyvind Kang, Lori Goldston, Climax Golden Twins) and bassist Simon Henneman (WAH, Wayne Horvitz). Distorted through a shattered lens, they refocus elements of experimental rock, psychedelia, surf, sci-fi exotica, noir and horror film soundtracks into something entirely unique. Since 2005 the band has been crafting their jagged, hard-charging approach and cinema obscura ethos, but it was their multiple LP releases on the Sun City Girls label, Abduction Records, that got the band wider recognition for their creative and distinctive sound. They have shared the stage with Pere Ubu, Chrome, Los Dug Dug's, Secret Chiefs 3, Baba Commandant, Dengue Fever, Tinariwen, etc.
Ava Medoza is a Brooklyn-based guitarist, singer, songwriter and composer. Her guitar work has received acclaim for its technique and viscerality. She is best known as leader of experimental rock band Unnatural Ways, and as a solo performer on guitar/voice. Performing/recording credits include work with Carla Bozulich, Fred Frith, Malcolm Mooney, Mike Watt, Nels Cline, John Zorn, and Negativland.

$20 adv. / $25 door: https://tickets.venuepilot.com/e/jay-gavin-and-taylor-kingman-2026-03-31-the-rabbit-box-theatre-seattle-b8c343
Jay writes and sings songs for fans of real country music and is making a name for his catchy hooks, foot-stomping, autobiographical, everyman songs and good timin’ live shows. The Nashville Songwriters Ass. Intl. named Jay Gavin, a writer that’s “One to Watch” in June 2023 Often compared to Kris Kristofferson, John Prine and the like! Jay will be promoting a new Nashville recorded project " A Tribute to Hal Bynum" with Outlaw legend Billy Don Burns.
Ask around Portland and you’ll quickly uncover Kingman’s reputation as the sort of songwriter who makes other songwriters jealous, even angry. You’ll also hear about his hustle as both a player and writer, as those same songwriters line up to play with him. “I like to alternate between plain-spoken truth and fragmented visions of painfully vivid dreamscapes,” Kingman notes. “Songs need a listener to be complete. And I don’t want to tell the listener what to think or do. It’s our job to present honesty, good or bad: an unfinished song from an unfinished life. And everybody hearing it gets a co-write because each moment is unique.”
Richard Peterson Record Release Party
Richard Peterson is a legendary Seattle Musician having done nine albums over the course of his illustrious career. His latest is a Beatles cover album, which is amazing. He will be performing some of the songs on his keyboard, and assure to entertain and inspire you.

Brittany Davis

“A perfectly timed engine is a beautiful thing. A muscle car purrs at idle, humbly coated in grease, smelling of gasoline, it clicks and whines in revolution, betraying its ungodly power to resist the draw of gravity with explosive torque. Arlan Lackie's acoustic guitar is this kind of machine: a wood and wire hot rod he combines with deadpan vocal delivery that you can feel in your chest. Lackie finds all the words needed to describe Lo_Liner's sound in the song "Eye For and Eye" when he sings "...a big vibration, and a rumbl'in force, that ol' machine's gonna win of course". His titanic voice is tendered by his partner in the band Lucile Lackie, whose ethereal harmonies, additions on winding lap steel, make Lo_Liner a band. They're joined by Eric Woodruff on Bass and Jesse Harmonson on Drums, blending influences from old country, blues, folk and rock and roll. Think White stripes meets the Carter Family…or The Handsome Family arguing with Simon and Garfunkel.” Sean Jewel: American Standard Time Records
Midnight Jasmine is Damian Lester, Ellen Curry, and Tim Chinnock. Sprouted in the sands of Joshua Tree, California, the trio brings their no-frills authenticity to tunes that embody complexity within simplicity. Their sound is something like a cross-pollination of early Gregory Alan Isakov and an acoustic version of Low. With spacious rhythms that carry an effortless groove, and three voices that seem to come from one, their songs reflect the trio’s connection with nature, exploring themes of awakening to love and the inner human experience.
“One breath and Amanda Winterhalter’s voice stays with you. One whisper and you lean in to know more.” – Artist Home
