One Year In The Stars: Honoring Gary Mula ~ An open gathering of friends singing songs to Gary
It's been one year since our beloved Gary Mula - musician, recording and live music engineer, singer/songwriter/guitarist, mentor/teacher and dear friend - left the earth for the stars. We invite those who knew and loved Gary to come together to share songs you know Gary would like to hear. There will be a guitars, a piano, and microphones available to use for those who want to share a song. Featuring artists: Uncle Chaddo, hannah ramone, Jake Rohr, Jesse Bonn and others.
Gary could often be found behind the sound board at The Rabbit Box and many music festivals, venues and events around town, always showing up with love, support, and guidance for whoever was playing. He put his passion for music into supporting artists as a studio and mixing engineer, infusing everything he worked on with love and detailed attention. Over the years, Gary engineered, produced and mixed many beautiful records for PNW artists you can find here: https://garymula.com/ He ran a number of studios in his time including the epic Dutchman Recording Studio (you can read about here: https://www.historylink.org/File/22889), the Bani-Love Recording Studio , out of the historic Columbia City Theater, and The Treehouse. Gary was an incredibly gifted songwriter who often put aside working on his own music to support others. You can listen to his songs here: https://soundcloud.com/gary-mula We love you, Gary!
