Ambient guitars, bass, and drums grind together to frame lyrics that explore common anxieties and the passage of time. And sometimes goats. The “blank wax clocks” album was released in late 2021 followed by the five song “Dirt in a Hurry” EP. A veteran of the Chicago psych rock scene, “…we stood around in parking lots for years and talked about bands like The Brian Jonestown Massacre, The Dandy Warhols, The Stooges, The Strokes, The Black Angels, Wilco….now we get to stand around in practice rooms and music venues and talk about our own stuff too. Ask him about his high, pretty vocal harmonies.” Drummer Zachary Pacleb is an artist. Mostly with food. Really, really good food. Turns out he’s also a really, really good drummer. Somebody recently told me, “…everything Zach does is incredible, he’s that kind of guy.” No pressure.
