Joey Vargas is a musician raised in West Seattle. Singing both originals and personalized covers with an original percussive sound, his music combines styles from multiple genres. With his debut album coming out soon, he’s been busy writing and sharing his music on local stages.
Ray Baron is a songwriter and composer based in the greater Seattle area. His music blends influences from alternative rock, gothic, folk, blues/jazz, progressive rock, and experimental if not theatric styles, often shifting between genres while keeping a focus on storytelling and mood. His songs explore everyday moments as well as fiction, personal reflections, and the spaces between people, with arrangements that range from stripped-down acoustic to layered and textured. He performs both solo and with a rotating group of collaborators in the greater PNW.
"TBASA is not an acronym. Rather, it's a sort of convenient mashup of one guy's name. Tim Basaraba is a restlessly inventive singer-songwriter, beginning his musical life in Idaho as a punk singer, and subtly merging into a genre-hopping weirdo." - Rev. Adam McKinney Weekly Volcano
