Hank Lemon is the country/folk solo project of Naked Giants’ founding member, Henry LaVallee. A lifetime songwriter and lyricist, he decided to migrate from the drum kit to downstage-center, hanging up the drum sticks for an acoustic guitar, and switching out his cut off jorts for some boot cut Wranglers. In Seattle, he has been making noise in the Ballard country/folk scene playing at legendary venues like Tractor Tavern and Conor Byrne Pub. He has shared bills with Dean Johnson, Leon Majcen, and Town Mountain, and is frequently found busking at Seattle’s historic Pike Place Market. The songs of Hank Lemon explore themes of love from the road, long-term commitment, and looking at American life from the lens of a working class musician.
