Darren Loucas is a Seattle-based guitarist, singer-songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. He first gained recognition as co-founder of the award-winning blues duo The Jelly Rollers and later with his band Juke, praised by Seattle Weekly as as “one of the more moving records to come out of the Northwest in recent years.” His solo work showcases his expressive guitar playing, which The Stranger has called, "a revelation", vivid storytelling, and a heart-sleeve vulnerability. His live shows are as intimate as they are electrifying — whether he’s singing a hushed acoustic ballad or launching into a searing guitar solo - Loucas is always reaching for and finding the extraordinary. Over the years, Loucas has shared the stage with artists including Wayne Horvitz, Robin Holcomb, Bill Frisell, and The Long Winters, cementing his place among Seattle’s most versatile and respected musicians.
